Hexaconazole 5% + Validamycin 2.5% SC

Cinco VH (Hexaconazole 5% + Validamycin 2.5% SC) is a broad-spectrum, systemic, and contact fungicide formulation used to control fungal diseases, primarily sheath blight in paddy. Combining a triazole fungicide (Hexaconazole) with an antibiotic (Validamycin), this mixture offers both protective and curative action. Hexaconazole inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis, stopping fungal growth. Validamycin inhibits trehalase, causing dehydration of fungal spores.

  • Timing: Optimal to apply during the tillering to panicle initiation stage for the best results against sheath blight.
